It depends on your lifestyle and styling needs! Clip-ins are great for temporary looks, while halo and wrap-around styles offer easy, damage-free wear. If you're new, start with clip-ins or an invisible—they’re beginner-friendly and easy to apply.

Look for extensions in a shade closest to your ends, not your roots. When in doubt, opt for a slightly lighter shade—it’s easier to blend. Some brands offer color-matching services or swatch kits for extra help!

Yes, if they’re made from heat-friendly synthetic fiber or human hair. Always check the product details first. Use a heat protectant spray and stick to lower heat settings (below 350°F) to keep them looking their best. We use Tru2Life fiber which is heat-friendly!

With proper care, synthetic extensions can last a few months, and human hair extensions can last up to a year. Always store them properly, detangle gently, and avoid heavy product buildup to extend their life.

Nope—not if you use the right type and care for them properly. Clip-ins and invisible styles are safe and non-damaging because they don’t require glue or bonding.

Most ponytails come with a clip or comb and a wrap-around piece for a secure hold. Just put your hair in a bun or ponytail, anchor the extension, wrap the extra hair around the base, and secure with a bobby pin—done in minutes!

Yes! When properly secured, your pony will stay put through errands, events, or even light workouts. For extra hold, use a few hidden bobby pins at the base and a little hairspray.

Absolutely! As long as you can pull your hair into a small bun or ponytail, you can wear a ponytail extension. Just make sure your natural hair is tucked neatly underneath.

If it’s made from heat-friendly synthetic fiber or human hair, yes! Use low heat (under 350°F) and always check the label. Traditional synthetic fibers should not be heat styled.

Gently detangle it after each use, store it flat or hang it in a hair bag, and avoid using heavy products. This keeps the pony looking fresh and tangle-free for your next wear.

A topper is a partial piece designed to add volume or coverage to the top and crown of your head. Unlike wigs, toppers blend with your own hair and let your natural hair show around the sides and back.

Measure the area of thinning or hair loss you want to cover, then add about an inch to each side for a comfortable clip-in fit. Most toppers list their base dimensions to help you choose the right one.

Yes! Toppers come in a wide range of shades, textures, and lengths to match your hair. Choose a color close to your ends, and you can also style your natural hair and the topper together for a seamless blend.

Toppers use built-in pressure-sensitive clips that snap securely into your natural hair. They’re lightweight, easy to apply, and stay put throughout the day when clipped properly.

No—toppers are designed to be gentle. Just avoid clipping them in the same spot every day and give your scalp breaks if needed. For sensitive or fragile hair, look for toppers with fewer clips or soft lace bases.

Clip-in bangs are super easy! Just section off the front of your hair, place the piece where you want the fringe to start, and snap the clips into place. Blend with your natural hair for a seamless look.

Yes—when matched to your hair color and positioned properly, they blend right in. You can also lightly style them with your natural hair for an even more realistic finish.

Absolutely! If the length isn’t quite right, you can trim them or take them to your stylist for a custom cut. Just be sure they’re made from heat-friendly fiber or human hair before using hot tools.

Nope! That’s the best part. Clip-in bangs let you try fringe without the commitment. You can switch up your look instantly—no cutting required.

Gently detangle after each wear, store flat or on a stand, and avoid product buildup. If they’re heat-friendly, style on low heat and always use a heat protectant.

The foundation or prep work you do before you put on the wig is important for a proper application that looks and feels the best. If you have your own bio hair, we recommend wrapping and pinning it first. Use a nylon wig cap to keep it tight and flat. If you don’t have bio hair, using a wig cap or liner is an option but might help with any scalp sensitivity. Wigs have ear tabs that will help guide you with placement. Make sure they are even and flat. The hairline looks best slightly behind your natural hairline or 4 fingers above the brow bone.

Heat-friendly synthetic fiber can be styled using heat tools below 350 degrees. When curling heat-friendly synthetic hair, we recommend allowing the curl to cool down before releasing it to set the curl in place. When heat-friendly synthetic hair is styled with heat, it keeps its shape even after washing. Human hair can benefit from allowing the curl to cool to set but it is not required. Human hair can be styled like your own bio hair.

Wigs are made with adjustable straps and these really help keep the wig secure.

To ensure a wig is good quality, consider the brand and customer reviews. A brand’s longevity and collection of products can be a good indicator on quality. Good quality wigs come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and even prices. Added features like lace and monofilament are upgrades to a wig that add more hand finished details.

All wigs can be cut, trimmed, or thinned out to customize for your individual needs. When it comes to coloring, synthetic wigs can be temporarily colored using eye shadow or hair color sprays but cannot be chemically dyed or treated. With human hair, we recommend only depositing color and not lifting. Always consult with a professional when it comes to cutting or coloring your wig.

Washing your wig is easy. Fill your sink with water and add a capful of shampoo. Mix and soak a synthetic wig for 5 min or hold and dip a human hair wig to cleanse. Do not soak human hair as it can create matting and tangles. Avoid putting leave-in conditioner or regular conditioner to the root or base of the wig. Allow hair to hair dry or use a blow dryer on human hair.

Synthetic wigs typically last 3-6 months and human hair lasts anywhere from 6 months to a year. After continuous wear, wig hair and fibers begin to look dull and damaged and replacing with a new one is recommended. Depending on wear and care, your wigs can last much longer or even less.
